Media Entrepreneurship Challenge: Start Your Own Media Brand

Event Description

This challenge aims to empower aspiring media professionals to conceptualize, design, and pitch their own media brand. Participants will explore branding, content creation, audience engagement, and monetization strategies. They can create a blog, podcast, YouTube channel, digital magazine, or niche media platform. The event concludes with a pitch presentation evaluated by industry experts.

Rules & Guidelines

• Original Work: All submissions must be original. Plagiarism results in disqualification.
• Team Composition: Individuals or teams (up to 3 members) are allowed. One spokesperson per team is required.
• Submission: Participants must submit a brand proposal (concept, target audience, and revenue model) for preliminary evaluation. Late submissions won’t be accepted.
• Prelim Round: Proposals will be screened. Selected participants proceed to the final pitch presentation.

Judgment Criteria

1. Originality & Creativity: Uniqueness and competitiveness of the media brand.
2. Feasibility & Practicality: Scalability, sustainability, and market relevance.
3. Clarity of Presentation: Effective communication of the concept, vision, and revenue strategy.
